http://subjunctive.net/photoblog/2005/journey-to-the-west.jpg
I met Joel Chan earlier at the mrt to return him some of his stuff.
Thereafter, Martin, Chad, Joel and I proceeded to the Wild Wild WEST! T.T Haha, to us Easterners, the West was really ulu, and it just doesn't seem right to us. Like the never-before-ventured parts of Singapore. It's not as developed compared to the East I think. Too many housing estates? Hmmm...
Our initial plan was to follow Martin cos he believed in taking 96 at first. Holy Cross Church was in Clementi Avenue 1 I think. But somehow...just somehow, we decided to go to the other bus stop which had 184, 154, etc. cos maybe it seemed to have more buses for us to take to our destination.
Haha, it's quite a ridiculous journey actually.. Here it goes anyway!
So we hopped onto 184 that came our way, then we journeyed quite a while. By then we were almost running late for mass. We passed the river, and alighted at one stop after the block 343. One bus stop to another was quite a distance.
"Hmmm... I think we missed the stop. Maybe we can take the buses on the other side of the road?"
At that time Joel suggested taking a cab.
We went across the road and so happened that another 184 came our way. Joel said that we should take a cab and tried to hail for one, but since the bus came, lol, we took it and went back.
Martin said that the would turn into the interchange, but apparently it didn't. And we went back to the bus stop we began from. -.-
We didn't alight but continued journeying on the bus, passed the same river, and this time alighted at block 343 or something.
The auntie at the bus stop said "walk straight down" "where?" "all the way" "is it far?" "quite far... about 3 bus stops" @.@ -jaws drop man-
We gave up, and heeded Joel's golden advice- we took a cab. -.-
Lol, and along the way, Joel said that he actually knows the place. Hahaha, what a journey man...going around in circles.
