So the 9th of July was the date that the Lonely Hearts Club was established. It's a club which includes all the broken hearted and single people who are looking for the love of their lives. It comprises 6 members right now- Kevin, Joel, Richmond, Waihern, Zhenwei, and me. Oh, feel free to join it, girls and guys allowed. Hahaha, but well it's unofficial though. :P
Guess what, when we introduced ourselves to those playing at the cage, they thought that we were some LHFC (Lonely Hearts Football Club). HAHA. We were really good players yesterday, but the secondary schoolers were really really good. O well, it was quite a while since we've kicked balls. A bunch of 20 year old bachelors, reliving those good old moments together.
After that, we went on our cycling adventure around Sengkang/Punggol and had our fill at the Prata at Jalan Kayu as well as Selegie Soya Bean! Great stuff. :)
Along the way back, Ngiam's leg cramped! Hahaha, guess we gotta do some warm ups before stepping the pedals.
Hmmm... I've gotta meet up with my other friends too, only after my course ends. 5 August is the day I'm looking forward to.
But for now.. IT ALL ENDS 14 JULY.

The latest movie that I've caught was Green Lantern which I watched together with my dad. Coincidentally, the Green Lantern Oath sounds similar to the Guards Creed, for the last part.

I think I had quite a big takeaway from the movie. It's about Courage. To summarise what I've learnt:
We say we're only human is because we're afraid, but not because we're weak. It's in the very essence of being human that we find the courage to admit we're afraid, to then find the courage to confront all our fears.
