At last, the khaki beret and the Guards tab. That's when it all really ends.
Today marks the end of one phase of my life that has taught me the meaning of the word "Shag". Sleep deprived nights and days went on and on over this whole week, but it just feels so great to come back home. So nice to take a break from soldiering. So wonderful to drown myself with all kinds of food I want.
I believe GCC didn't exactly have a specific objective for people to achieve after the course, but everyone would have a special experience that they can take away from. Well, the intangibles that we've gained, outweigh the tangibles that we've all complained about.
Cos we only come out stronger, and better people at the end of the day. :)
